Tron: Legacy, the birth of a style? Meanwhile in Rome and Milan preview
After a night at the Tron Festival del Film di Roma, two more evening events sponsored by Walt Disney Company to present Italy Tron: Legacy. Or how to make a movie phenomenon that involves entertainment, music, fashion and design.
Because, you know, economically productive life of a blockbuster now lives only in parts of the box office.
So here is the video game, fashion proposals, illustrated books and high tech toys.
Yesterday evening at the multiplex Adriano (Rome) Italian premieres the first of two (the second will be in Milan on Thursday to film Orfeo 16).
A sophisticated environment to bring up the atmosphere and the contents of the film trend: futuristic and sophisticated look that pervades the design of furniture, electronic music (the music of Daft Punk, the cult Parisian designer duo of electronic music genre and won the Grammy Award), the costumes, hairstyles, make-up of the characters.
The foyer of the cinema Adriano dominated by a large hexagonal portal, in a setting of smoke, lasers and lights, with two DJs Tron suits made to simulate the presence of Daft Punk, VIP guests on a motorcycle and models dressed in the garments created by ad hoc Belstaff.
For the premiere in Milan, other sets Games, architectural lighting, a "bluTron" Carpet, hostesses, models and a photocall to be photographed and, thanks to a special processing computer, receiving its own image "tronizzata.
In the afternoon, in addition, the brand will present a design Cappellini armchair designed by Dror Benshetrit and inspired by Tron: Legacy, produced in limited edition.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Tron: Legacy starring Academy Award and Golden Globe Jeff Bridges (Kevin Flynn – a man once known as the best game developers in the world), Garret Hedlun (Sam Flynn – son of Kevin) and Olivia Wilde (Quorra – loyal friend of Kevin). Father, son and friend find themselves on a journey between life and death, through a spectacular cyber universe, an extremely advanced and dangerous created by the same Kevin, made up of vehicles, weapons and landscapes beyond imagination and ruthless enemies who will stop at nothing to prevent every attempt to escape. The costumes of the film, shot entirely in three dimensions, are designed to enhance the special effects, creating the visual aspects unprecedented high thanks to digital technology.
Tron: Legacy (sequel to the hit film of the 80s) will be out in Italian cinemas on December 29, and from January 5, 2011 in all other formats.
